So Mandi convinced me to start a livejournal, well not really but that's my excuse.
The last three days have been draining... for those of you who don't know I've been attending a national conference for 'Rhythm Games Canada' (basically it's just a huge In The Groove tournament and some other stuff on the side) It's still in Saskatoon, but I decided to stay at the hall with everybody else because I wanted to get to know everyone a little better.
Everything started on Saturday, after a long day of taking the bus and walking everywhere on Friday, I hopped on a bus to Sutherland around noonish... When I first got there, I felt so left out, because there were so many people there, and I didn't really know anybody (besides saskatoon people).
So we went to the cove, and had the qualifying rounds for all the different tournaments (doubles, singles [bar/nobar]) and I ended up qualifying with a 97.19 on Fly With Me... a new best but could have been way better if the idiots beside wouldnt be like 'oh that sucks' whenever i would get an excellent.. but whatever that's in the past. Anyways, I didn't qualify in the top 16 so I had to enter this mini-tournament... 6 people playing to see who would get the final 2 spots. I won my first match, then in my second match we were tied 1-1 (it's a best of three) and the pad started being bitchy and gave me a miss and a wayoff that I'm 90% sure weren't my fault. The score of the round was 96.4 for me and 97.3 for him... so I probably would have won if those misses didn't happen. So after a little debate, they let me play it again.... 98.16 O_O, they let him play it again too but he only got a 97.4, so I won.. I felt bad and like I was getting off on the wrong foot... I didn't really want to 'forfeit the match' because this was the only tournament i was in and I would be just sitting around for the rest of the conference.. I guess that didn't really help everybody's liking me....
So I ended up playing my buddy Justin in the finals of the mini tournament, it was just to decide who would finish 15th and 16th.. he beat me in a close one =D, so I had to play pickles >.< he's pretty insane and obviously I lost.
